These are small packages under one pound in weight that are not technically considered parcels, but can be processed by parcel sorters. These items weigh between 1 and 15.99 ounces, and may also fit the following criteria*:
- Rolls or tubes up to 26 inches in length and merchandise samples that are not individually addressed
- Unwrapped, paper-wrapped, or sleeve-wrapped articles
- Articles enclosed in envelopes that are not letter-sized, flat-mail, or "machinable"
